Everyone comes to yoga for different reasons. That is what makes it special - whatever the problem, physical or mental, yoga can help. It is a discipline dating back thousands of years and was originally developed to calm the body and mind so you could achieve "enlightenment" (connection the spirit). The spirit we seek is not anything religious, it is our own spirit and self.

However we have discovered along this journey that yoga is a wonderful physical therapy, strengthening, balancing and aligning the body, as well as reducing anxiety and calming the mind for clear thoughts and relaxation.

YogaCore4Sport

Training to get stronger or faster can lead to tight muscles with a smaller range of motion, limited power, and a tendency to get injured more easily. By its nature sports tend to cause asymmetry in the body with over use of certain muscles at the expense of others. This imbalance can be corrected with Yoga. Yoga offers a combination of active and passive stretching(as well as core strengthening) that can help improve your performance and stay injury free.

This 30-40 minute class is designed to fit into your lunchtime in your workplace. It is designed to relieve back, neck and shoulder pain (through stretching and mobilising exercises) and reduce stress levels with a short mindfulness practice.  It can be performed wearing normal office clothes and doesn't require a large space as the exercises/postures are performed standing up or seated.

A free trial session is available to see what it's all about.

Fees start at £30 per session depending on business/organisation size.
